Social worker Miriam Rotberg, L.S.W., plays an instrumental role on Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey’s case management team, assisting patients and families in the coordination of treatment plans with hospital and community services. Rotberg joined Specialty Hospital in July 2013 after serving as both director of marketing and admissions, and social worker at South Amboy Adult Day Health Care Center, South Amboy, N.J.
After graduating from Excelsior College, Albany, N.Y., with a bachelor of arts degree, she received her master’s degree in social work from Long Island University, N.Y. While pursuing her postgraduate studies, she served as a social work intern at several facilities, including Leisure Chateau Care and Rehabilitation Center, Lakewood, N.J., The Brookside Assisted Living Community, Freehold, N.J., and Shalom Torah Academy, East Windsor, N.J., where she also was a language arts and social studies teacher for its middle school students.
